This is by far the most useful book I have bought/seen for iOS development By Volodymyr Nevzorov I almost never write reviews on Amazon, but I feel this book deserves it.This is by far the most useful book I have bought/seen for iOS development. Certainly,I haven't seen ALL of them, but quite a few. Maybe it is just that it fits my learning style well: a combination of explanation of general principles and terminology and well explained practical examples showing the principles in action. The instructions are very clear and c.I have just finished the book and it cleared for me a lot of "fog" around auto layout, size classes and iOS GUI design. I am going to buy his another book right after I finish writing the review.Steve, my compliments! Well done.

I get the code and how the parts work together but had a really hard time wrapping my head around the concepts of what autolayout was all about and how to make it work consistently (not just adding constraints until the yellow lines went away).After reading this book, I picked it up instantly. I totally understand all of the concepts and even do a constraint driven layout style now that works fantastically. This book saved my employer and my future self thousands of euros (and it was essentially free!). Thank you Steven.

As a long time Mac developer, and someone who transitioned to Swift early on, I've been reading Steve's blog posts since the beginning, and I'm happy to see him put together such well written books. It not always that you find a book that you can actually learn from if you've been doing this for a while, yet a book that's written well enough to follow if you haven't. Thanks Steve and keep up the great work!
