I'm a self learner and can do a general Google search on a new topic. But the how-to unschool question has been a concern of mine and my husbands. We naturally unschool our children. They are still young. Or oldest would be in kindergarten in the fall. So we wanted to solidify our homeschool philosophy.This book helped me to realize we are doing it. We follow the lead of our children. We don't force topics they are not interested in, but introduce them to new experiences through museums, day trips to explore new cities, and set up time for them to learn and enjoy their grandparents away from us.Thank you! I'm happy to recommend this book to others like me looking for confirmation that unschooling is the best choice for our family!

By Nithya This is one of the most comprehensive guide books of its kind and is a must for novice explorers, battlefield experts or history buffs alike. The author's attention to accuracy and detail is clearly evident in this thoughtfully written and informative guide. Neatly organized and in chronological order, you are taken back in time through approximately 2000 years of military history in France. For a given battle or battle site, you are provided with interesting, clear summaries, GPS coordinates, easy-to-follow color maps, beautiful photographs as well as great recommendations on surrounding sites to see and places to eat, drink and stay. It is laid out in such a way to give you excellent guidance on these fascinating sites but also with the flexibility to approach them any way you like. Whether using to plan your next vacation or as a reference in your home library, this book will become an indispensable part of your collection. Highly recommend!

The definitive guide to touring battlefield France By Jack Stone This is an excellent work covering the various historical battle sites in France, of which there are many. The author has done an excellent job with historical backgrounds of the battles, providing meaningful photos to accompany them, and providing "I was there" advice for your visit. This obviously took several years of research and personal visits to produce. The book is well organized, thought out and comprehensive. If you are a serious historian, a military buff, our touring with your family, "The Road To War" will serve you well. 5 stars all the way.

By Bunny I usually don't leave reviews but felt this guide really captured my attention and left an impact. Very well written guide! It is evident that the author has done extensive research and put together a product for a broad audience. Whether you are a novice historian, tourist passing by or advanced historian, there is something for everyone. The attention to detail in guiding his audience throughout history and throughout the country is on point. I have created an itinerary from this guide and am looking forward to my upcoming visit to France!

About the Author Edward Zellem is the 9-time award-winning author of 3 bilingual books of Afghan Proverbs published in 15 languages. 0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Excellent for Dari speakers; Very Good for non-Dari speakers By Charles L. Stroh I ordered this on Kindle. It is good, but limited. A third or more of the proverbs are not in common usage, but either literary in origin or just not commonly used. It is assumed that the reader will already be somewhat fluent in Dari and if so, it is far more useful than if one is not. Layout and placement on each page is good and easy to use with both English and Persian script in use. There is a very handy Appendix (in English) that gives the origin for each proverb and fills out an interpretation of meaning. For my personal way of using books, it would be more useful to have the text in my hand than on my screen. If I were to purchase it again, I would order it in the book form. For my own use, I would rank the text as 4+ stars, but for a general readership, I think 3 stars is a better number.

I do not speak Dari but that is okay. We laugh together at my attempt to speak Dari and I try to pick a proverb useful to the situation we are facing. I highly recommend this if you work with Afghans; poetry and proverbs are integral to their culture.

Great for the beginner - very basic and some advanced details By Andy CJ This book is very good if you are a beginner, especially if you are looking into doing arbitrage using Craigslist. The part on Amazon FBA was not the best and the language not so great...a bit too basic and short also. Other than that great book to get you started with different kinds of reselling. It's clear that this guy knows what hes talking about, and again especially regarding Craigslist and eBay. I also appreciated all the photos of products that you could sell and estimated profits etc. Also alot of details on various tools and strategies to help you get really good at reselling and making good money online with physical products.

Lack of page numbering, index or table of contents makes topic searches difficult.For new sellers on ebay or Amazon Marketplace however, I would recommend more specific books, the websites themselves, and also contacting other experienced sellers to learn the various rules, regulations and strategies.

Cindy Wilder has given up a story filled with heat, passion, and most importantly - emotion. I was hooked from part one and was not disappointed with this final installment to Ethan and Lauren's story!!!I highly recommend not only this installment, but this entire series to any one looking for a great story thay will keep you on the edge of your seat. Outlier Analysis is a comprehensive exposition, as understood by data mining experts, statisticians and computer scientists. About the Author Charu C. Aggarwal obtained his B.Tech in Computer Science from IIT Kanpur in 1993 and Ph.D. from MIT in 1996. He has been a Research Staff Member at IBM since then, and has published over 90 papers in major conferences and journals in the database and data mining field. He has applied for or been granted over 50 US and International patents, and has twice been designated Master Inventor at IBM for the commercial value of his patents. He has been granted 14 invention achievement awards by IBM for his patents. His work on real time bio-terrorist threat detection in data streams won the IBM Epispire award for environmental excellence in 2003. He has served on the program committee of most major database conferences, and was program chair for the Data Mining and Knowledge Discovery Workshop, 2003, and a program vice-chair for the SIAM Conference on Data Mining, 2007. He is an associate editor of the IEEE Transactions on Data Engineering and an action editor of the Data Mining and Knowledge Discovery Journal. He is a senior member of the IEEE.

But if the writing deserves it, if I am moved by it, how can I not? Since when did my light smutty fun books become the stuff of epic love stories? Here's the best compliment I can come up with. I read a wide variety of different types of fiction, but my husband refers to this style of book as "primers". He can always tell what I've been reading if he comes to bed, I toss aside the kindle and jump him because these books, "get me all primed up and ready to go" as he likes to say. I'm reading the first story, at the kitchen scene where Lily sees Jack's tattoos in the light for the first time and is realizing there is ink representing her. My sexy husband comes upstairs and eagerly asks, "What cha reading Babe?". My quick reply is a blatant lie. "Crime novel. A mystery! I'm about to figure out who done it, gotta finish." I totally blew him off after reading a smoking hot love scene because I could literally not stop reading this book. That's how good it is. I have reread the entire series again, it's incredible. Maybe one of my favorite love stories of all time. No BS. I'd recommend going through the series in order, it starts with Saxon and Jenny's 3 stories which are pretty great too. Jack and Lily are first introduced in those books.

This is a steamy romance between two damaged but highly likable characters, and I really enjoyed the ride. Love me an "alpha" male that is man enough to love a strong woman without trying to change her - and a heroine that kicks ass! The book is very well written, and the sex scenes nearly melted my tablet.

She doesn't use an extensive backstory like most great authors but somehow she gets me to fall in love with her characters. I've never want love and an HEA for anyone more than I did for Jack. This novel blew me away & made me a fan. I'll be reading anything I see with her name on, that's for sure...

He's a billionaire, a bear, and knows she's his mate. Love the internal dialogue of the bear and man. Deep characters, interesting, sweet tale, and hot sex make this short story worthwhile. Esme is a chef "wanabe", but didn't get accepted to Culinary school. She subs for a sick chef one night and excels, meets Zach, and he sweeps her away. Sweet, curvy Esme sees his bear and runs, but he rescues her from the mean dogs, and she doesn't want to run anymore.Highly recommended. ENJOY !!!

A delicious bear story By Louise N The characters Esmeralda and Zach are really beautifully drawn, both confident and yet insecure, lonely but surrounded by people. As the plot moves steadily on, no drag at all, they grow and become these two people that I am invested in. I want to see them happy! The minor characters acted to show just how nice and perfect for each other they were. I enjoyed reading this novella so much that I was kind of sad to see it end! Put this on your list of books to read!

I liked especially the advice about using one chosen language to a person, as people got really confused when one changes the languages all the time. Elena spokes quite good finnish, that is hard to study, so you definetely have something to learn from the book :)
