Mitch and Roman were making me mad, but they redeemed themselves when everything was said and done. I couldn't stand Brianna and Diamond. Those two got on my last nerves. Diamond was so wrong for what she let come out of her mouth. That chick was too much for me. Both her and Brianna messed up by continuing to mess with Nell and Kenzie! I guess they didn't think anything would happen. Lol. I loved the relationship the girls had. They were so close. They had each others back, just like their men had each others backs. This book ended on a good note. I can't wait to read more from these authors!

Invigorating Hope: A View toward Transformational Education, by Dr. Stanford E. Angion

About the Author Stanford E. Angion is married to Athenia M. Angion, formerly of Cleveland, Ohio. They have two daughters, Ivana and Kendra. The Angions reside in Valley Grande, Alabama and are members of Mt. Gilead Baptist Church in Coy, Alabama, where Stan has served as pastor since June 2003. Also, he teaches ninth and eleventh grade English at Keith High School in Orrville, Alabama. Stan was born and reared in Coy, Alabama. He attended Wilcox County High in Camden, where he graduated as an honor student in 1982. After graduation, he attended Alabama A&M University and graduated in December 1986 with a Bachelor of Soil Science degree and commission as an Army Major. Other accomplishments include earning a Master’s of Journalism and Mass Communications from Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia and a Doctor of Education from Alabama State University in Montgomery, Alabama. His teaching experiences include seven years at middle and high school, nearly three years at the collegiate level, five years at military training commands, two years in pre-kindergarten and afterschool programs, and more than twenty-seven years in Christian congregations. Stan’s work and leadership experience includes serving as the Vice President of Student Services at Concordia College Alabama for two years, Vice President for the Star of Hope Congress of Christian Education for two years, youth pastor at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Hinesville, Georgia for two years, and in the United States Army for nearly thirteen years. Stan has published three book. In November 2003, he published Unleashing the Inner Strength of Youth. In November 2014 he published Invigorating Hope, and Invigorating Hope Implementation Guide was published in July 2015. For six years, he hosted a weekly radio broadcast, The Inner Strength Broadcast Ministry, on WYVC 102.3 in Camden, Alabama. Stan is in his second year as moderator of the Star of Hope Association, which comprises about fifteen local Baptist churches. Additionally, he is President and Director of Mt. Gilead Scholastic and Artistic Institute. The MGS&A Institute is an educational organization designed to equip underprepared students to become well-cultured, productive citizens by helping them to develop a system of Christian ethics, master basic academic skills, and enhance artistic dexterity. MGS&A offers a variety of programs and courses designed to enhance elementary, secondary, and post-secondary student learning.

They ask the IRS to help and Tara is the Special Agent in charge of the IRS team. Tino owns a security business and it's suspected that he also robs his clients and/or forces them to give him extra money to avoid something unpleasant happening to them or their families. Some of his staff have disappeared or turned up dead in a violent way.Tara goes undercover as a waitress in Tino's wife's restaurant, which is next door to Tino's security company. This way, Tara can see if Benedetta, his wife, is also involved and it potentially provides access to Tino's office. Nick, Tara's boyfriend who is also an IRS agent, sets up a business across from Tino and Benedetta's businesses so he can keep an eye on them.In addition, Tara is investigating a case for three elderly men who had been ripped off by a travel agency. They had been approached to go on a casino trip and had given a deposit in cash. The guy didn't show up on the day it was supposed to happen and not surprising has disappeared.I enjoyed this book. I liked the writing style ... it was funny and sarcastic. It is written in first person perspective from Tara's point of view. I like the characters. Tara and Nick are good together. Other characters are quirky and comical (like Tara's boss, Lobo).It is the ninth book in the Tara Holloway series (I've read the previous ones) and the eleventh book I've read by this author. She always gets her man no matter what she has to do! This time she had to pose as a college student and work as a waitress, all while staying away from home, pets, and boyfriend! She hardly ever whmpers about it either! She is after a mob boss who's security company seems to have a history of getting rid of non-compliant customers, that is, ones who won't pay him protection money. Never mind about all the other nasty things he has done, Tara and crew are on the job. Apparently the best thing about the case and working in the restaurant of the mob boss's wife is the great food and the chocolate cannoli dessert. There is a lot of food in this book, and I blame Diane for the 2 pounds I gained while reading it! :)The story line is exciting with many little twists and a whopper near the end. It will keep you on the edge of your chair and reading into the night. I recommend it highly! I have loved all the Death, Taxes series, but this one is especially good. You are sure to enjoy it!

This time she is pushing lasagna and cannoli while working undercover at a local Italian restaurant. She and the crew hope to bust what appears to be a mobbed-up businessman. Between throwing a bridal shower for her BFF, working her day job as an IRS special agent, keeping up with her boyfriend and fellow agent, and bussing tables, Tara keeps us engaged and entertained. I just love this character. Cheeky, sometimes vulnerable, fiercely loyal, the character keeps me wanting more time with her!I especially enjoy the side investigations and friendships which continue despite her undercover activities. This series is not a one-note song: we don't always have a murder to investigate, rather we have lots of interesting cases to unravel with our Tara. I especially like her boss, Lobo, who is anything but typically government!This is by far my favorite series; read any one in the series and you will be thankfully hooked!

Rich was a damn snake so glad he got his. Poor Journee was blinded by money and getting back with someone that didn't want her. Glad Sharnese got her stuff together, being with a thug ain't for everybody but she hung in there. They got their happily ever after and now living the legal life.

I would have given it 5 stars but I felt like it was a small disconnect during Sharnese and Murda's breakup. I did however enjoy the ending! I wasn't expecting it to go that hard! Great read!

This exploratory case study used a qualitative research method and explored how Project Management Offices (PMOs) and associated governance groups, such as project management, program management, portfolio management, and risk management, play an important role and are viewed as a positive contributing factor in the successful management of projects. The study also explored the perceived reduction of operational risk that would help prevent the likelihood of financial market collapse reoccurrences, and the perceived importance and impact of operational management structures of financial institutions in contributing to the prevention of another banking collapse. The following themes emerged in the study: Operational risk, regulatory groups, characteristics of PMO structures, optimal PMO structures, PMO effectiveness, and maturity levels of PMOs. A postulation to integrate PMO structures and associated governance groups in the accords (frameworks) of the Basel Committee on Banking Supervision (BCBS) was proposed to help financial institutions reduce operational risks that affect consumers of financial services. A non-traditional survey-based case study was conducted with eight project management professionals with financial industry experience in the United States. The case study helped reveal that financial collapses were significantly related to the lack of PMO structures and integration of those structures into regulatory frameworks as mandates. This case study further found that to reduce the likelihood of another financial collapse, a change needs to be made to organizational structures by (a) implementing well-run PMOs and associated governance groups, and (b) integrating those structures into regulatory frameworks.

By Sade Thompson The summer head start offers fantastic advice for both parents and children on how to keep busy during the summer holidays so that children don’t forget all that they have been taught during the school weeks. A lot of what children learn in schools can be lost due to inactive use of the brain which causes a slide in education. What this book offers is brilliant ways children can remain in education, no matter where they find themselves. By reading, writingNot only does the book, offer ways to entertain the children while keeping their brain exercised, there are also wonderful maths exercises, essays that will keep their mind thinking and sharp on a daily basis.Also it provides a free app to download the Lumos Step up app, which can be accessed to help home-school children and keep them from losing any of the skills they learned from school and make them even more exceptional when school resumes. I recommend this books to any parent looking to prevent and imp-rove on their child’s learning.

This is a fantastic book to keep kids on track By Chris This book does a great job to maintain kids attention and keep them on a fast track to learning and success. It leads kids to understand that hard work does pay off and can give them an edge over their competition.The best thing about this book is that not only the learning, but also the it is a lot of fun. I love books that teach my child a good life lesson while entertain them at the same time. Great job to the author!

By Samantha This guide provides challenging yet do-able activities for 4-5 grade students, which keeps them interested and motivated to do their best. The only way a child is going to succeed is if they learn at an early age that putting in the extra work (outside of school) will give them a leg up. This guide explains why completion is important, so that students understand why they are using the book, and so that they want to as well! Also, there are fun jokes inside to keep a smile on the students' faces.

This is a great follow up to the first book as it goes more in depth in certain areas. I love the amount of PowerShell techniques that are covered in THP2 since this is becoming the standard for lateral movement. If you want to add some more tricks to your arsenal this is a great book to read. If you own THP1 you will not be disappointed with THP2. It will just bring your game to the next level.

I used the first book for MANY assessments in the past and it has helped a bunch. I've probably came across just about every scenario in the first book and seeing a second book with even more updated material is awesome. The second book is just as amazing if not more amazing than the first - tons of helpful tricks and tips, code and how-to's to get your past the sticking points of penetration testing.If you do penetration testing / security assessments or even defensive security for IT you should get this book. This will shortly be a best-seller.

Crash course in Powershell, WMI, and Windows Active Directory and other essentials for the aspiring penetration tester By Nikolas Roby Excellent update to the original Hacker Playbook. I like the heavy use of Powershell, and the various scripts used to demonstrate recent vulnerabilities like Shellshock and OpenSSL Heartbleed. Peter did a great job and this book is a great resource from those just beginning, to those of an intermediate level. If you are unsure if this book is for you, it probably is. I've learned a few tricks and there are such a wide number of tips that most people will also walk away happy.

Like a College Survey Class In a Book - Great Place To Start By Dirk Drudgler I've become somewhat of an authority on The Missing Manual books, having read and used quite a few of them. Of all of them, this is by far the most ambitiously titled one because much of the work going into creating a website is contained in many of their other books. However, for anyone starting form zero and looking to get an overview of the tools and possibilities for website creation, this book may be a worthwhile investment. And yes, if you follow the instructions you will be able to create a website.The book will take you through all the fundamentals of simple website creation, including HTML and CSS. There is very little JavaScript information, so most of the book focuses on less dynamic and interactive style web pages. It has an overview of many of the web design tools available, from Brackets to Dreamweaver, and how to use them. If you want to get greater depth than the what is offered in the one chapter (or so) summaries then you would move to the other MM books which are dedicated to specific topics (like DW or JS).The book gives you an excellent HTML and CSS overview and will truly get you started, but where it really shines is in all the areas frequently overlooked by other books like how to get your website where users can see it, how to use tools like Google Adsense, Amazon Associates and Paypal Merchant Tools. It is also outstanding in instructions on the use of video and audio. There is an excellent overview of blogging and the tools available for that. It also covers essentials like securing a domain name, web hosting and search engine optimization.If this book was a college course, they would call it a survey course; a course which offers you an overview and brief exercises in many disciplines allowing you to make decisions where you want to specialize. Can you build a website? Yes, in fact you can build a number of them. Will they stand out? Not for their stylistic complexity based on what you learn in the book, but if your content is great, absolutely. It will also offer you a very clear direction on where you can go to improve you skills and your websites.

Creating a Website: The Missing Manual, 4th Edition By Leeanna Chetsko I taught myself HTML and CSS when I was about 13, doing it the old-school way in Notepad. It was an interest of mine for a long time, but in recent years I haven’t kept up with new developments/standards/etc. I have a book blog that uses Wordpress, and I can hack most things to do what I want, because I have that basic knowledge, but I need an overview of new stuff. I thought CREATING A WEBSITE: THE MISSING MANUAL would help with that, as it’s the 4th edition and the cover says it “covers HTML5.”The second page of the introduction told me I’d picked the wrong book, as this one is intended for absolute beginners. So much of the book was useless to me, as it includes chapters such as “Creating Your First Page” and “Adding Graphics.” Only half the book is about HTML and CSS; the other half gives a broad overview of other web-related things, such as “Website Promotion” and “Making Money with Your Site.”I did like that the author emphasized learning HTML and CSS in Notepad first, rather than starting off with something like Dreamweaver. I think that’s important, too. I thought the examples were easy to understand, and would give a newbie a good introduction to HTML and CSS. However, it’s nothing you can’t find free on the Internet. But if you like to learn from books, this could be good for you. The layout, diagrams, and instructions are easy to understand if you have a little bit of technical knowledge, and the author tries to be funny and not too dry.Then the author included a section on how to get started with Dreamweaver and Expression Web, and I’m not sure that was a good use of page space. To me, that was symptomatic of the rest of the book: giving brief overviews on a ton of subjects and quickly moving on. There’s information on how to create a shopping cart with Paypal, and how to make money with Amazon Associates and ads. Does stuff like that really belong in a newbie book? I’m not so sure. It doesn’t make sense to me. I’d rather have seen more chapters on coding and actually designing a site, rather than just giving tips like “keep it simple and classy.”

Some Good Info, But Book Lacks Focus By GameMaker I'm a guy who was one of the early-birds in the late 90's, hand coding my own html pages and creating a personal website. Then rode the wave of Dreamweaver, and Flash, and Actionscript, and now find myself behind the times with all the new tools and methodologies. So I thought I'd give this book a try, seeing as I have my own domain, and a embarrassingly bad website right now. What I was really hoping from this book was some "recipes" to assemble together useful websites using popular tools, to do things like blog, host videos, connect with social media, and do some simple e-commerce.As such, I'm pretty disappointed with this book. Really, at the end of the day, what this book does for you is talk quite a bit about hand-coding html and css, and then glosses over really quickly a lot of other topics like html editors, social media, advertising, blogging, and interactive websites, paypal, and a few other things. But it really doesn't tie any of these things together, nor in most cases does it even give you enough info to actually utilize these technologies (aside from the html and css that is). The book is neither a good reference, nor a good tutorial for actually building a useful website. I guess if I were naming the book truthfully, it would be called something like "Introduction To Websites" or "Websites 101", or "Websites, a 20,000 ft view". So I dunno, I'm not actually sure who this book would be useful for to be honest. It's kind of funny, because the author included a "Who Shouldn't Read This Book" paragraph, hidden away inside the book, and after reading the list of people who *shouldn't* read the book, that seems like just about everybody to me. Perhaps he should have given a little more thought to who actually *would* benefit from this book, rather than who wouldn't.
