Review "Charming, witty, and fun. There's no better read. I enjoyed every word!"―Debbie Macomber, #1 New York Times bestselling author on No Better Man"4 1/2 stars! Second in Richardson's Heart of the Rockies series is a delight. Paige's adventurous, independent spirit shines through, and while Ben sometimes verges on too pushy, he needs all that determination to really get past her defenses. "Resist the drawl," she tells herself at one point, but in the end, she can't resist him - and neither will readers. A wide cast of sharp, well-drawn secondary characters adds depth to the story, as does the beautiful landscape."―RT Book Reviews on Something Like Love"Richardson's debut packs a powerful emotional punch. [Her] deft characterization creates a hero and heroine who will elicit laughs in some places and tears in others."―Publishers Weekly on No Better Man"4 stars! Hot! Richardson brings us a modern read set in beautiful Aspen. Her brisk storytelling and the charming, endearing characters set within a solid, engaging plot make this sweet romance shine. A strong and vulnerable Bryce, coupled with a determined, lighthearted Avery, will appeal to readers, especially with their sizzling chemistry. This is a truly delightful read."―RT Book Reviews on No Better Man"Fresh, fun, well-written, a dazzling debut."―Lori Wilde, New York Times bestselling author on No Better Man"The perfect balance of humor, heart and heat. I couldn't put it down! Sara Richardson will sweep you away."―Christie Craig, New York Times bestselling author on No Better Man "An enjoyable read. Richardson's spunky, baseball-lovin' heroine is delightful!"―Katie Lane, USA Today bestselling author on No Better Man

About the Author Sara Richardson grew up chasing adventure in Colorado's rugged mountains. She's climbed to the top of a 14,000 foot peak at midnight, swum through Class IV rapids, completed her wilderness first-aid certification, and spent seven days at a time tromping through the wilderness with a thirty-pound backpack strapped to her shoulders. Eventually Sara did the responsible thing and got an education in writing and journalism. After a brief stint in the corporate writing world, she stopped ignoring the voices in her head and started writing fiction. Now she uses her experience as a mountain adventure guide to write stories that incorporate adventure with romance. Still indulging her adventurous spirit, Sara lives and plays in Colorado with her saint of a husband and two young sons.

They are as different as night and day. Her family’s whole world revolves around the family business, a cafe. Most of her family works there in one capacity or another. Paige cares about her family and the family business, but it is not her passion. Her passion is to operate a therapy program for quadriplegics, which would include horseback riding and whitewater rafting. She is more at home with the outdoors and she truly believes her therapy program can work wonders with those in need. She just needs to make her dream a reality, and she will do whatever it takes to do just that. When her boss agrees to consider the program if Paige can impress an important client, she jumps at the chance. She knows she’s good at her job as a mountain guide so it should be easy to impress the VIP client. When she finds out exactly who that client is, she realizes it will be harder than anything else she has ever had to do.Ben Noble is the VIP client heading to the resort, in an attempt to do damage control for his career. After his name is smeared in the mud, he thinks a trip to the resort will put him in a better light in the public eye. When he sees Paige at the resort, he’s not sure which will be a harder goal to accomplish: cleaning up his political name or winning the heart of someone from his past that he let get away. Neither will be easily accomplished. The writing style flows smoothly and the book is an easy read. The author is very talented in descriptive writing and she brings the scenery to life with the written word. At times I felt like I was right there, watching the activities going on all around me. I felt like I was transported from reality into the world that she created, and that is an awesome feeling. The characters are well rounded, well developed and three dimensional. Paige is a tough woman who has had heartbreak in her past. She is hard-nosed but vulnerable and the combination made her seem even more real to me. She is not afraid of hard work to realize her dream, but she is afraid of having her heartbroken. She knows that if she let him, Ben could make her life complete or completely destroy her world. And that scares her.Ben is someone who does not want to let others down, his family, his friends or the citizens. Know that he has let Paige down in the past weighs heavy on his heart and he wants to make things right with her. He knows that it will not be easy but he not only wants to make things right, he wants to make Paige his forever. The relationship took some time to develop and I appreciated that fact.As in book one, the secondary characters are also nicely developed and there are some that you cannot help but dislike (when you read the book you will know exactly who I mean!!!). I feel like they added quite a bit to the story and brought a whole other dimension to it.I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a well-crafted women’s contemporary. I have read book one and I really enjoyed that one also. I would suggest getting both books in the series, sit back and enjoy yourself.

He's running for senator and in order to keep his numbers up, he's going to donate his land in Aspen and make a production of it. He's going to need the help of his friend Bryce and his attractive mountain guide, Paige Harper. Paige has been on his mind since the moment he met her and danced with her. Maybe this time he can convince her he's not playing her.Paige can't believe Ben is back. He made her feel things she doesn't want to feel, like her heart racing and blushing any time he's around. She is good at what she does but her job is on the line this time. She has to impress her boss and Ben's entourage but his mother is not making things easy for her.~~I liked both Ben and Paige.Paige was determined, strong-willed, but at the same time she had a soft spot of vulnerability. She was hurt before and she didn't want someone taking advantage of her again. I can't blame her for guarding her heart. Her relationship with her family was also not the best but I was glad to see in the end things work out. Sometimes bad things have to happen to unite us.Ben was a good guy. Yes, he was a player before but he was serious about wanting something more with Paige. I was glad to see he defended her from his mother. He was not perfect, he made mistakes but he recognized them and asked for forgiveness. In regards to the secondary characters, I loved Julia. I can't wait to read her story!Cliffhanger: No4/5 Fangs

A charming love story By Marsha @ Keeper Bookshelf Ben and Paige’s story background began in the first story in the Heart of the Rockies series, No Better Man. While, in my opinion, you don’t have to have read this series from the start to enjoy or even understand all the lives involved — it would certainly give you all of the nuances and undertones of this excellent ongoing series. So if you get the chance, pick up No Better Man it’s a great story.Watching Ben and Paige’s romance move from little trust to romance was an enjoyable journey. This is a couple that belongs together – and they have a lot of baggage and obstacles to get past before they get their happy ever after.Paige doesn’t have the best relationship with her family, her interests and desires for her future are so different from theirs. But she is determined to follow through on her dreams of a therapy program for the disabled. She’s got a shot but she has to put on the very best face ever for one very important person – the man she almost got involved with, the last man that she should trust right now.Ben is determined to treat this chance with Paige far different than their previous encounter. There are so many things that could stand in the way of Ben and Paige having a relationship, one that matters And the people in their lives aren’t going to make this romance easy – at all. But the attraction is still there, all it’s going to take is for Paige to give Ben a chance to show his true colors.Ben is a man divided, he wants the ranching life but politics is also in his blood. His decisions are going to affect many people – but ultimately it’s his and Paige’s happiness that matters most..I found Something Like Love a fascinating love story. One with complications and misunderstandings and family getting in the way. But that’s life – and a good romance. I’d definitely recommend this story and the series to any romance reader who wants believable situations, relatable characters and a good solid story.*I received an e-ARC of Something Like Love from the publisher and NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. That does not change what I think of this novel.*
