He is the recent past president of the International Fuzzy Systems Association (IFSA) and recipient of the pioneer award of the IEEE Computational Intelligence Society.

The history and evolution of philosophical logic, fuzzy, morphic and set theory, statistics inc. probability, series, morphology. Single neuron, populational systems neuroscience, and network theory is covered. This is pursued from the angle of electrical engineering. An understanding of advanced algebra, series, set theory, matrices, calculus, partial differential equations, and logic from the mathematical viewpoints are covered. There is overlap in the chapters with some of the essential material repeated from chapter to chapter. The historical development of ideas is covered. Computational intelligence includes advanced machine learning. The first half of the book lays the groundwork with definitions, algorithms, theorems, corollaries, conjectures, and conclusions with biological applications as well as network concepts. Evolutionary computation is developed in several of the more advanced chapters.This book is only meant for the most specialized computational scientists.
