This is criminal psychologist Dr. Sarah Jacobs, and dark and dangerous businessman Jax Fontaine's storyline. Although SHATTERED is the third in the series, it can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty.Told from several third person perspectives SHATTERED focuses on a killer who has targeted both Sarah Jacobs and Jax Fontaine. Sarah's past is mired in death; a guilt she harbours for the sins of another, and with it comes Sarah's resolve of acceptance for something of which she was never responsible. When a series of copy cat killings hits too close to home, Sarah finds herself partnered with Jax Fontaine -a man with an even darker past and dangerous secrets. As the threats against Sarah begin to escalate, the police begin to look at Jax as a possible suspect when all of the clues lead back to the man in question.The relationship between Sarah and Jax is one of mutual attraction. By Gerianne Slavinsky/Southern Yankee Book Reviews This is a book that will stay with you after you are done. I loved this book and it picks up right where Book #2 lets off. The storyline is gripping and keeps you on the edge of your seat while you are reading it. I kept trying to read faster because I could not wait to see what would happen next, but then when I finished I wished I had read slower because I didn't want it to end. Sarah and Jax are super together and so well written they seem to take you along with them on their crazy thrilling ride! Since these were the last two single characters we knew it had to include at least one of them in a romance, but why include only one when you can get both? Loved the way they work together both on cases and romantically. If you are looking for a romantic suspense novel to read that will keep you glued to the pages, this is it!

By ShelbyH *I received a free copy to read & review for Wicked Reads*The LOST series can be read as stand-alone's, but for best results - read them in order.I've been SO excited to get Sara's story!!She's an interesting character, the psychologist has an intense backstory and is awesome at profiling (as we've learned in the 1st two books). I really want to know what makes her tick, and see her "loosen" up a little. I was not disappointed.Not only do we get to know Sara, but Jax is our Hero!!(Did I mention I love him?!)New Orleans seem to be a melting pot of missing people, crime, and darkness The LOST team is fully immersed in their next case which involves Sara...Fantastic suspense, awesome action, excellent chemistry, and super HOT scenes all come together to make an exciting story that I couldn't put down.~Wicked Reads Review Team~
