I have spent the last decade researching and trying various curricula and observing many homeschool family's during their school day. I have never been 100% satisfied with one curriculum or another. Either the material had too much busy work and no creativity, or they were way too easy and below grade level learning. They either had me completely out of the picture as the teacher, or way too much preparation required on my part. What's a homeschooling mama to do? I have to say that these homeschool Journals just may save our homeschool!!! They have just the right balance between independent and guided learning, with interesting content that parent and child can be involved and learn together at any time. The flexibility is wonderful! Every child is so unique I often struggled with doing the right curriculum for each of my children without buying a hundred different programs for the year. Also, since they are learning about things they are interested in and reading books on those subjects they WANT to do school, and are learning during that time. I have tried expensive curriculum that my children ended up hating so instead of learning they were constantly spending all of their time trying NOT to do their work. What they did "learn" about wasn't retained and took all of our time and energy. No more fighting, and they are remembering the information as well as having fun!! It seems too good to be true, but it's not!

By jeremiah corey First thing my 10 year old boy said to me today "Can I go work on my homeschool journal?". He is a very busy "all boy" who has been a "slow to read and write" kid. I think that effected his confidence a little as his other siblings are, well, just not him. This journal is sooo encouraging to him because HE CAN DO IT! He is even writing things and not worrying over the spelling! This is HUGE! He is loving his journal!http://itsagoodfull.blogspot.com/2015/11/falling-in-love-with-homeschool-journals.html

We don't go to the library very often simply because we live a ways from there and we don't go to town very often. But, we do have a subscription to Epic books as well as Amazon Prime Unlimited so our kids are still able to search for books that they want to read. And they are able to watch movies through Netflix and Pure Flix about the things they are wanting to learn about. My kids love being able to doodle in their school book. They enjoy making it their book by coloring the pages whatever colors they like and however they like. Thank you for sharing your talent in creating these books.
