This crew was awesome and I loved the family type bond. I loved Khori and August together and was glad when Kylon got over their relationship. The police chief was a real goon too!!! This is a must read and I would actually read this book again. Kaz definitely got what he deserved in the end.I truly appreciate that this was a STANDALONE Novel!!! I have stopped reading books by authors how carry out series for a long period of time. In my opinion is someone does a series they should release a book each month not 3 months to a year later. I have often forgotten what I have read by the time the next book comes out because I read all the time. More often than not the author has started another series before they conclude the current one to me there isn't any logic in that and it is not fair to the fans and readers. Enjoy this great standalone novel.
0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. A Good Stand-Alone By Tammie S. This was a well written book that kept you interested for the most part. I can say it felt like a long read though. The characters where like people you run across everyday...nothing seemed too far fetched. After all the pain & heartbreak I am glad that the couples found love, especially Khori. Zayleigh & Tana were definitely not two of my favorite characters but I hated to see Zayleighs' fate...karma is truly a b****. Tana might be right at home because now she can live her lifestyle freely...lol. This is not my first book by this author & im sure it wont be the last.

Khori and August may have rushed things a little bit but you can't fight love at first sight. I understood where Kylon was coming from being that August was his best friend and Khori was his sister but he was so wrong for being against them being together. They should have had to be on the sneak tip to keep Kylon from finding out. I really appreciated this book being stand alone since I'm always reading books that are broken up into different parts.
