About the Author Mark Piantanida became a stockbroker in 1992 upon college graduation. Throughout the years he has successfully passed the following exams: Series 7 Series 8 Series 24 Series 55 Series 63 Series 65 Series 66 Exactly 20 years after first passing the Series 7 exam in 1992, Mark took the Series 7 exam again. He was shocked to see how little the exam had changed. He noticed that the bulk of the exam again concentrated mainly on stock options. This book is worthy of its title "How to Pass the Series 7 Exam" By Ginger This book is the equivalent of a friend taking you aside after class and clearly explaining what the teacher was just saying. Using the audio files along with the book was, again, like having a friend to study with. The options chart alone is worth the price of the book. Great experience.

It starts out by breaking down the exam into sections and showing you where the most difficult questions come from (equity options and bonds). Then, it teaches you how to draw "mirror image" options charts for about 40 different formulas. The book concentrates not on explaining series 7 material, it's focused on passing the exam.
