It’s been seven years since the fiery crash that landed his teenage sweetheart in the hospital . . . and him in jail. In an instant, he lost everything: his passion for racing, his hope of escaping his father’s shameful legacy, and the only girl he ever loved. Raleigh hasn’t seen her since that awful night. Never got a chance to apologize. And never forgave himself, either. When brave, beautiful Mia Wentworth returns to the Florida coast for the first time in what seems like forever, it’s not to see Raleigh. Even so, the moment she arrives she can feel his presence like a gust of wind that gives her goose bumps. Opening her heart to him again seems impossible. But staying away? That might be harder still. Lucky for them both, Mia’s never been the kind of woman to take the easy way out.Advance praise for Falling Fast “An emotionally charged story about two people with wounded pasts, and deeply buried secrets, who find their way back to one another.”—New York Times bestselling author Patricia Rosemoor “Falling Fast has wonderful characters you’ll hold in your heart forever. I couldn’t stop reading until I found out if these two star-crossed lovers would be able to survive all the challenges keeping them apart.”—New York Times bestselling author Kathy Clark“[Tina] Wainscott comes back to her roots. . . . Her early fans will be happy here with the suspense and mystery that play into secondary plots, but romance is the primary vein in this novel. This first title in a promising new series will have readers anxiously awaiting the next entries.”—Library Journal (starred review)“The characters are sure to win you over and have you pulling for them to overcome the odds!”—I Smell Sheep “Falling Fast was [the] first novel I have read by Tina Wainscott, but it definitely won’t be my last. It was a great romance filled with passion and emotion, and it was also a book filled with love, forgiveness, and the importance of second chances.”—Devilishly Delicious Book Reviews “Excellent . . . [an] amazing new series [with] lots of heart and hope!”—I Have a Book Obsession “[Tina Wainscott] did a really great job of developing the characters and I really liked seeing Mia and Raleigh heal together whilst rekindling their relationship.”—Broc’s Bookcase “This story ended up taking a completely different turn than I had expected. It is done with style and grace. The story will pull you in and keep you turning pages just to see what happens.”—Bitten by Love “I love second chance romances—love, love, love them. Falling In Love Again By Bitten By Love Falling Fast by Tina Wainscott is a second chance romance, it’s full of emotion, love, and has a bit of mystery thrown in. Ms. Wainscott – weaves a wonderful poignant story.Mia and Raleigh, were each other’s first loves – Raleigh a kid from the wrong side of the tracks, his mother dead and his father an alcoholic – he moved out on his own at 15 and started working at a garage. Mia – a girl from the money, had recently recovered from cancer and when she saw Raleigh bopping away under a car, her heart skipped a beat and they become inseparable.Their relationship as teenagers ended with a crash (literally!). Mia – burned and broken is in the hospital and Raleigh is sent to jail for racing among other things. Flash forward 7 years. Mia is back in town to bury your Grandmother. A Grandmother that took Raleigh in and loved him as he loved her. Fate brings them back together – can they overcome the past and Mia’s parents (whom I wanted to take to the tool shed and whip a few times!)? The mystery that is woven through the story is amazing and could very well threaten not only their future but their present.Falling Fast is a lovely tale of lost love, finding your way back to your soul mate. It is done with style and grace. The story will pull you in and keep you turning pages just to see what happens. And believe that in fact your first love could be the love that will stand the times – together or apart. If you are looking for a contemporary second chance romance with a mystery thrown in, Falling Fast is well worth it!

By Gerianne Slavinsky/Southern Yankee Book Reviews Wow, when I started reading this story I wasn't expecting for such a terrific emotional read. Two people who have had to fight for everything from the time they were little find each other. But fate still won't be fair to them and throws in an incredible accident which literally tears them apart. Will they ever be able to find their way back to each other? This is the story of fighting for what you want and making decisions to carry on for what is worth it. I thought the characters were well written. The chemistry between Mia and Raleigh was well written. I especially loved Mia's grandmother who knows love when she sees it and meddles just enough to open eyes and hearts. I thought Mia's name was appropriate since it is MIA and in a way Mia is missing in the action of life during part of the story and fights her way back. This is the first piece of work I have read from this author, but will be looking for more. Great job!
