2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. Great novel, needs editing By Amazon Customer I really like Andrea's story, so I was excited and surprised to see that this book was out. Great yarn, especially for someone who just moved to New York like myself. I was disappointed, though, because the book was written about publishing and writing, and yet the author didn't seem to grasp the fact that plurals do not need apostrophes. I found that distracting and frustrating...the book clearly needs to be edited one more time. Regardless, it was a lovely story and easy to get through.

Cohen Blake Nelson never disappoints-once again, he has perfectly captured the sometimes scary, always exhilarating feeling of starting out on your own, building a life, getting out there and trying..I have loved Andrea Marr and Blake Nelson for years-I've read everything he's written, with great enthusiasm, and I'm just so sad this is the last in the series. In my head, Andrea just goes on and on, living and succeeding and screwing up..she's become a friend to me, and I love that Blake Nelson can do that.Andrea is such a complex, whole, smart character, and I continue to be so impressed that he so well captures the internal voice of young women. How does he do it? Maybe he was born a woman?Anyway. I plan to read this again, and then starting the series all over again. My copy of "GIRL" is so old and dog-eared that maybe it's time to get a new one!Thank you, Blake Nelson, for reminding us that we are not alone.
